FAQ

Is CRX live?

No. CRX is pre-launch and in active development. The current environment is a sandbox for evaluation, not a production network, and no funds are at risk in it.

What chain does CRX run on?

CRX is building to launch on an EVM layer-2. The sandbox runs on Base Sepolia, a public testnet, where balances carry no value.

Is there a CRX token?

No. There is no CRX token, and none is required to onboard or trade.

Have the contracts been audited?

Not yet. The contracts will be audited by two independent firms before CRX accepts real deposits.

Who can use CRX?

Eligible contract participants (ECPs) — institutions and entities that meet the regulatory threshold to trade these instruments. A firm completes eligibility and KYB once and allowlists one wallet, then trades with the whole network.

What does it cost to trade?

The price of a trade is the rate the firm accepts on its quote, set by dealers competing to win it. Requesting a quote costs nothing, and margin is returnable collateral, not a fee.

What happens to a firm's collateral if CRX disappears?

A firm can claim its collateral directly from the contract, without CRX. It sits in a non-custodial margin account that is never lent or re-pledged. The firm withdraws its free balance with its own key.

Is CRX a clearing house?

No. There is no mutualised loss fund, and each failure is isolated to its own collateral.
