Deposit
Open Collateral, click Deposit, pick an asset and an amount, and confirm. The collateral lands free in your CRX safe. A trade draws its initial margin from this balance when it binds, so fund it before you trade. Time: ~1 min.
How do I add collateral?
Open Collateral in the left nav and click Deposit on the asset row you want to fund. Then:
- Click Deposit on the row. The popup opens locked to that one token: USDC or EURC. There is no chooser.
- Enter an amount. Type it, or the deposit mints test collateral and approves it for you in the Sandbox.
- Confirm. Your wallet asks you to sign the on-chain deposit. Your free balance rises when it lands.
The deposit either mines and your safe balance rises, or it reverts and nothing moves. Every balance surface re-reads when it lands.
Step 1: each asset row carries its own Deposit. Click it on the token you want to fund.
Step 2: the Deposit popup, locked to that one token. Enter an amount and confirm; your wallet signs each step.
Step 3: the deposit lands: that token's free balance and your total posted both rise.
What can I deposit?
You can deposit either supported collateral asset. Today that is USDC and EURC. Each is counted at its full oracle price — no haircuts; see Collateral (~3 min).
Can my firm restrict which assets are accepted?
Yes — your firm can restrict deposits through an accepted-collateral whitelist, the admin-set list of the only assets your desk may deposit. With the whitelist on, any asset outside the list is refused before it reaches the contract. Turn it on and edit the list in Advanced Settings (~2 min).
NoteThe accepted-collateral whitelist starts off. Until your admin switches it on, every supported asset is accepted.
What happens to a deposit?
A deposit becomes collateral in your safe, your global pool inside CRX. It stays there, withdrawable, until a trade binds; at that moment the trade's initial margin moves into a segregated account for the life of the position.
